Everyone is talking about the failure of the Biden Administration in its handling of Afghanistan. A Daily Signal Article calls it a “historic failure.”
What we have to remember is that the Democrats hate America as it was founded, and hates “American Exceptionalism,” so it is their goal to knock us down a few pegs, to weaken the United States, especially when it comes to our standing on the world stage. They want us refusing to stand on a podium as a winner, and turning our back on Old Glory as the world watches. Anything that makes us look weaker, and a mere shadow of our former self, is a grand success in the eyes of the anti-American hard left commie Democrats.
“I stand squarely behind my decision,” President Joe Biden said about the crisis in Afghanistan after receiving considerable criticism for his move.
Of course he stands behind it. They are excited that it is a catastrophe. America is weaker, vulnerable, and less of a gunslinger in the view of international oligarchs as a result. And that, my friends, makes them very happy.
But, like all good communists, they won’t accept blame for anything negative coming out of their disastrous decision.
“Do I bear responsibility? Zero responsibility,” Biden said during a CBS News interview in February 2020.
Everything he does in their minds is golden, and if it’s not, it’s Trump’s fault, or some corporate entity’s fault, or the fault of some other group, organization, or belief system that opposes them.
The Taliban didn’t wait long to bring down Kabul in a “Fall of Saigon” manner, and the rest of the country followed rapidly. Two decades of a sort-of peace enabled by American presence was erased in mere moments.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not a fan of foreign entanglements where we stick our nose into situations that it does not belong in. But, once we were there, those bets were off the table, and a new responsibility arose. Nonetheless, whether we should or shouldn’t have been there because of 9/11, and to keep the Taliban out, or for any other reason, the reality is that by being present we should have at least, before pulling out our forces, made sure our own allies and citizens had a chance to evacuate, first.
Biden’s style of withdrawal led to the collapse of Afghanistan, handed the country over with a red ribbon on top to the Taliban, and it has spilled an awful lot of unnecessary blood … all of which is on the hands of Biden and his surrounding Democrat Party anti-American idiots.
Are we surprised?
No.
Even stranger is after pulling out all of the troops, realizing it was a move that spelled out a death sentence for a lot of people, Biden has since announced the temporary deployment of 6,000 additional troops to help evacuate the U.S. personnel from Afghanistan he had originally abandoned. But, they are getting no help to get to the airport, and one news commentator recently said they are being charged to get on a flight. According to Glenn Beck on The Blaze, the planes are also only 50% full, and now they are trying to get commercial airlines to help.
One may say this is much like the abandonment of South Vietnam. At a July 8 press conference, in response to a question, Biden dismissed the comparison.
“The Taliban is not the south—the North Vietnamese army. They’re not—they’re not remotely comparable in terms of capability. There is going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy in the—of the United States from Afghanistan. It is not at all comparable,” Biden predicted.
The collapse of Afghanistan is worse than the Fall of Saigon. And it is everything that the Democrats hoped for. Embarrassing for America, and a move that weakens our position in the world.
