Someone who promotes conserving the traditional values associated with the United States Constitution, and the value-based principles that have served as a firm foundation for American Liberty. A Conservative promotes moral and economic values beneficial to all. A Conservative typically adheres to principles of personal responsibility, self-reliance, moral values, localism, less government interference in the lives of its citizens, and a policy or attitude of letting things take their own course.
