A series of Communist Revolutions (Russian Revolution of 1905, February Revolution of 1917, and the October Revolution of 1917, Russian Civil War of 1918) that led to the collapse of the Russian Empire as ruled over by the Tsarist autocracy. The revolution paved the way for the creation of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) in 1921.
