Friends and Family no longer talk politics … some say it’s too hurtful. Others argue that they can’t change each others’ minds, anyway, so why try? I think it is deeper than that, and it took a death for me to really think about it.

  1. I was wondering about your background. I have a book called "Understanding the Constitution". This was written by David Gibbs Jr. and III. Are they related to you? The book is from a Christian perspective. Also, IMO, legalization is only a means for the government to increase their revenue, just like they do in Mexico and many other countries. It is not about freedom.

  2. It's because we're told you don't talk about religion or politics. But those are things we should be teaching our children to talk about!! And if you don't have Jesus in your heart, you won't be able to talk about this stuff and still love people. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your uncle and family.

  3. Civil war all over again. It is happening in my family too! There many that I will most likely never see again. Politically and not taking the jab makes me a freak! See you in Thursday at Carlsbad class! Thanks for all you do!

  4. My condolences on your loss.
And it is a shame that we have come to this in the political discourse. I think the ire and strife is being encouraged by those who wish to take advantage of the divisions.
