The Constitution Association was founded by Douglas V. Gibbs in May of 2014, and became a 501c3 July 23, 2015. The Mission Statement is "To Spread Constitutional Literacy and Promote Patriotic Advocacy". Doug has been president of the organization since its founding. Other officers include Vice President Dennis Jackson, Treasurer George Rombach, Secretary and Webmaster Miles Gray, Assistant Secretary Jan Gray, and Membership Chairman Beau Watson. Currently, the organization is involved in a lawsuit it filed December 7, 2020 addressing the ineligibility for office by Vice President Kamala Harris, is working on adding its support to Donald J. Trump's lawsuit against Social Media, is working to launch a forensic audit of the 2020 election in Riverside County, consult the Utah Legislature in defying the unlawful 17th Amendment, and is in the process of launching a letter writing campaign to encourage the Sheriffs in the States of California and Oregon.
